Today Hurricane Barbara rolls through town. These benchmark workouts are designed to not only get you fit but are repeatable measurable tests of fitness that will come around again so that you can determine your rate of progress at CrossFit in as many modalities and time domains as possible. If you choose to avoid wods with long duration, heavy lifting or movements that you aren’t good at or don’t enjoy then you really aren’t working on anything other than your strengths . The same applies to the 6 week strength cycle we are doing. The objective is to get you strong through linear progression and if you choose to avoid these cycles then you are missing the fundamentals of why we do CrossFit. That is to get strong..which makes everything in life just a wee bit easier..Just sayin..;-)
