Mobility

A class for all levels of athlete practising the fundamentals of gymnastics. A strong core is the foundation of all force production and will also 'bullet-proof' the body against injury. This session will cover the basics of the pull up, the push up, the handstand and jumping mechanics including box jump and burpee. Each level of gymnastic progressions requires a good level of mobility and strategies will be used including pressure waving (foam rolling), contract and relax (PNF stretching), banded flossing and tissue smashing (lacrosse ball trigger points). To be a gymnastics ninja the body must have balance across all systems including the musculo-sketel, cardio-respiratory and nuero-endocrine. These concepts are discussed and practised in a fun and relaxed hour with our gymnastics guru PT Marcos. Numbers strictly limited. Book on Influx!.
